Adult buyers
Little Letters is for adults buying for children. Children should not submit information directly to us; the parent or gift-giving adult provides the details needed for the order.
Child details
We collect the child details needed to create and fulfill the personalized packets, such as first and last name, age, gender, and child-safe interests. Last name is used for envelopes and delivery, not inside the child-facing story letter. Please do not submit sensitive health, school, or family information that is not needed for the letter.
How details are used
Child details are used to write, review, print, schedule, and mail Little Letters packets; support account changes; and keep fulfillment records. We do not sell child information, and Klaviyo marketing events should not receive child profile details, raw child interests, generated letter content, photos, shipping addresses, or private notes.
Saved checkout details
Before payment, this browser saves the parent email and child details in the cart for up to 7 days so an adult can return without re-entering them. A completed checkout clears its matching saved cart. To remove saved details sooner, clear this website’s data in your browser settings. An unfinished server checkout can be recovered for 7 days, then its duplicate parent and child details are automatically removed after a short cleanup window.
Payments and addresses
Your one-time payment and receipt are handled by our secure payment processor. The shipping address is collected during checkout and shared with Little Letters so we can mail the packets. Little Letters does not store full card numbers.
Postmark transactional emails are used for order, account, parent preview, fulfillment, and support messages. Klaviyo may be used for marketing and lifecycle emails, and marketing emails include unsubscribe controls.
Service providers
We use service providers for payment, hosting, email, storage, marketing when enabled, content and fulfillment operations, and customer support. They help us run Little Letters and should use customer information only to provide services to us, not for their own unrelated marketing.
Review, correction, and deletion
Parents can use the secure account link or email [email protected] to ask about reviewing, correcting, or deleting child details. Some order, payment, security, tax, or fulfillment records may need to be kept when reasonably necessary for business or legal reasons.
